***This form is also for students who have not met promotion requirements.  Retained students must complete this form to attend Summer School.

This summer we are offering Summer School at NO COST ($0).

TRANSPORTATION will not be provided for Summer School.  Parents/Guardians are responsible for getting students to and from the school.

***If the student was retained, he/she must meet all expectations in academics, behavior, and attendance to be promoted to the next grade.

SUMMER SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS

• Student(s) must meet weekly academic requirements in every class.  

• Summer School dates are May 28 - June 26, 2025 (Monday - Thursday of each week).  Campus opens at 7:30AM each day for Breakfast.  The first course begins at 7:55AM.  Summer School ends at 11:00AM. LUNCH is from 11:00Am - 11:30 AM.

• Student(s) must meet all behavior expectations set by Carroll Junior High and Monroe City School District.  Summer School is ZERO TOLERANCE.  Negative/Inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated, and student will be removed from Summer School.  ***Student may not be promoted.

• Student(s) may not miss more than 2 days during summer school.  Otherwise, student will be removed from Summer School.  (Student will not be promoted to the next grade if here to meet promotion criteria.)

• Student(s) must not be TARDY for Summer School more than 4 times.  2 Tardy = 1 Absence.  The student is considered tardy 5 minutes after class has started.  No Excuses! (8:01am is tardy for the day).

• Student must be present for the full length of ALL required classes.    

• All students must follow the Carroll Junior High and Monroe City School District Dress Code Policy.
