Northeast Louisiana Reading Council
The NELA Reading Council is a professional organization dedicated to promoting high levels of literacy for all by improving the quality of reading instruction, disseminating research and information about reading, and encouraging the lifetime reading habit. The NELA Reading Council serves its members with professional resources designed to further five goals: professional development, advocacy, partnerships, research, and global literacy development.
Enchancing Education Through Technology
The primary goal of the EETT program is to improve student achievement through the use of technology in elementary and secondary schools. Additional goals include helping all students become technologically literate by the end of the eighth grade and, through the integration of technology with both teacher training and curriculum development, establishing innovative, research-based instructional methods that can be widely implemented.
