Activity 8:  Changes in Louisiana (GLEs:  30, 70, 77)

 

CC:  Have students work in groups to create newspaper articles that reflect the era of the 1920's and focuses on the following elements:

Culture-jazz, radio, movies.

Women's suffrage-Nineteenth Amendment.

Prohibition-Eighteenth Amendment.

Political changes.  

Students can use MS Word or any other word processing software to write their newspaper articles.
