Activity 1:  Where Does Water Run? (SI GLEs: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 19, 22, 27, 31, 37, 38; SE GLE: 50)

 

CC:  Students should generate questions and identify problems that will be encountered in this investigation. Questions that may arise include how to determine the surface area of the selected site, what units of measurement to use, how measurement will be conducted, and how rainfall will be collected on the selected site.
