Activity 9: Promoting the Auction! (GLEs: 2, 5, 34)
CC: Provide students with a chart like the one below representing data from the T-shirt Auction in Activity 8. Have them complete the chart, and determine total amount made at the auction.
Lead a discussion about different data displays that might be used: bar graphs, circle graphs, box-and-whiskers plots, etc. Give groups of four students time to complete the chart and prepare a display of their data.
MS Excel may be used for creating a display.
