Activity 5:  London, Paris, Rome or . . .? (GLE: 36) 

CC:  Give students the following data of vacation travelers during the month of July. Have the students create a circle graph to display the given data. Challenge the students to give the fraction and decimal equivalent for each city’s visitors and determine a reasonable estimate in fraction form for the ratio of visitors that went to Rome, London and Paris to the total number of travelers.

Use the Activity 5 worksheet with word problem, table for data, and circle for graphing.
