Activity 6:  Setting Analysis (GLEs:  03c, 09g, 16)

 

CC:  Following a teacher-facilitated discussion on how setting is developed (e.g., through an author's use of word choice and images that appeal to the senses and suggest mood and tone), students will describe the setting at the beginning of the novel and create a chart that shows when and if the setting changes.

 

Use MS Word to create a chart to analyze the novel’s setting and changes.
