Activity 10: After the Novel (GLEs: 08a, 09a, 09b, 09d, 09g, 19)
CC: Students will view a video based on the selected novel, if available, and complete a Venn diagram comparing/contrasting the print with the nonprint version.
Use MS Word or Inspiration software to create a Venn diagram or other comparison diagram. Word template - "Book vs. Movie" Inspiration template - "Comparison Diagram"
Additional Resources: Students will respond in various forms as requested by the teacher (e.g., formal assessment, book reviews, book talks, projects, illustrations, dramatizations, multimedia presentations).
