Activity 5:  Viewing Humor (GLEs:  10, 40c)

 

CC: Students will use a Venn diagram, T-chart, or Y-chart to compare/contrast the sitcom's story line with what would happen in real life. 

 

Use MS Word or Inspiration software to create a Venn diagram or chart to compare/contrast the sitcom's story line with real life.

Additional Resources;

Students will watch an appropriate television situation comedy (e.g. The Cosby Show, I Love Lucy). The website http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/3267/lucy.html provides a listing of acceptable episodes.
