Activity 6: Map Elements (GLE: 1)

CC:  Sort the maps into stacks of world, state, parish, and city maps. Put each stack of maps as well as a piece of chart paper in locations throughout the room.

Use MS Word to create a chart for each stack of maps.

CC:  When each group has had time to explore maps and record elements from each set, gather students and compile a list titled Elements of Maps. If a computer/presentation monitor is available, use this. If not, use a chart or transparency.

Use MS Word to create a class chart.
