CC: The teacher will direct the students to understand that plants make oxygen and animals exhale carbon dioxide and that both living things are dependent on the other for these gases. The students will label the diagram of the respiratory system.
CC: Provide a teacher prepared diagram of the circulatory system which includes the heart, aorta, pulmonary vein, pulmonary artery, and vena cava. The diagram should show veins and arteries attached to the heart and leading down an arm or leg.
