CC:  The teacher continues to expose students to a variety of poetic works by reading aloud or asking students to read particular works that evoke different levels of meaning. Students listen carefully for particular language, rhythm, or emotions

as the poems are read aloud. Poetry lessons always include time for students to respond orally and in written form in their

writers' notebooks.
