Travel Overseas to Paris and Madrid

The foreign language department is planning a trip to Paris and Madrid during the spring break of 2011.  Students  are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to travel to places that they learn about in their classes.  Parents are welcome as well.

The trip willl last ten days, and will be fun, cultural, and educational.  On the itinerary are Versailles, St. Jean de Luz, Bilboa, Segovia, & Toledo.  In addition, students will be given the opportunity to earn college credit by visiting www.cce.csus.edu/programs/travelstudy.htm and submitting all required forms. 

The cost of the trip is estimated at $3,000, and a meeting will be held in the spring to discuss next year's trip. The requirements to be eligible for the trip are:

-Students are required to have taken French, Spanish, or Latin for two consecutive years;
-Students must have at least a "C" average;
-Students must not have any referrals.
