Instructional Technology Resource Database
The IT Resource Database contains hundreds of standards-based lesson plans and activities created by district teachers. A particular emphasis has been placed on the creation of lessons and activities that utilize 21st century skills: creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. Lesson plans are added each semester from teachers who are enrolled in the TEC21 course.
You may search the database by keyword, grade level, resource type, subject, or in combination. You may also search specifically for the Black Bayou Lake NWR lesson plans that were moved from the BBLNWR site into the database for easier access. You may also search specifically for Smartboard lesson plans and activities by entering Smartboard in the Keyword Search field.
The database also contains numerous templates for items regularly used by teachers such as Venn diagrams, graphic organizers, bubble maps, tables, charts, four square writing, etc. To see all templates, select Templates in the Resource Type list and leave all other fields blank. All of the items in the database can be downloaded and used as is or edited as needed.
If you have a lesson plan or activity that you are willing to share, please email it to Karla.
