My Christmas Wish is on the List of the most Famous man on earth I can't say my wish is valuable or that it has sentimental worth I have a wish that many have wanted To Come True it is a wish as sweet As honey and as wonderful as the Sky is blue I wish for something that comes mainly from above I Wish to be Happy and To be loved Carroll Jr. High School Being a Friend Running and laughing while they play Thinking of gifts and toys they might receive But not of the girls and boys who grieve Not thinking without any regret Of the Christmas presents they are to get Then on that special day When you go outside to play You see a lonely boy under a tree Knowing how sad he could be Not knowing what he say Then you look onto those eyes of his That's when you find out what the gift of the giving really is To have a friend in need Is a friend indeed Joella Page Carroll Jr. High Have you ever seen someone who was weak and hungry, and had no food when they woke in the morning? They go out everyday looking for food to eat, scraping trash cans up and down the street. The only water they drink is probably filled with dirt. Seeing people like that really does hurt. Now Christmas time is coming and the wind starts to blow, I wonder what they are going to do when it starts to snow. Every Christmas I wished that there was something I could do, such as sending presents to them, instead of giving it to you. This Christmas I plan to go out into the streets, and give someone something to eat. Christmas is a time for giving and sharing, and as much love I feel for these people I would also be caring. Brittany Smith Carroll Jr. High I wish this Christmas would be filled with joy And presents would be given to every girl and boy. I wish that Christmas would be filled with love So that blessings would be sent from up above. I wish that everyone in the world could have food to eat I also wish they could have shoes on their feet. I wish the hate today would end I wonder why everyone just can't be friends. I don't wish for presents or much for me I just wish that everyone would be free. I wish the homeless would find somewhere to live I wish the selfish would learn to give. I just wish the world would become a better place And it wouldn't be based on my race. La'Toya Smith Carroll Jr. High |
