Patterns, Patterns, Patterns; Microsoft Word

In Microsoft Word, create various patterns using the draw tools.  Have students complete the patterns and/or duplicate them.  Have the students create their very own patterns to describe orally or in written form depending on the grade.  In large groups, the patterns can be projected and discussed.  Which color do you think will be next? Why?  Which shape comes next?
