Mixed-Up Nursery Rhymes, Microsoft Word

Mix up the lines of familiar nursery rhymes, songs, poems.  Show to the students using a projector.  Let the students read the mixed-up rhymes.  The students will orally correct them while the teacher makes the changes on the document.  Possible examples are "Mary Had a Little Lamb"; "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"; or "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

Like a diamond in the sky.

How I wonder what you are!

How I wonder what you are.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

Up above the world so high,
