Matching Attributes, Microsoft Word

Open MSWord and set page orientation to landscape. Insert a table that is 6 x 6, and make each row and each column 1".

Go to AutoShapes and select the Explosion shape. Resize the shape to fit in the table. Select the shape and Ctrl D four times to duplicate the shape. Leave the first column empty and drag a shape to the top row of each of the other columns. Color each shape a different color using Fill Color on the Drawing toolbar.
Next, use AutoShapes to draw 5 different shapes. Duplicate each of these shapes five times. Drag each shape to an empty cell so that each cell in a row has the same shape. For example, the first row may contain 5 triangles, the second row 5 circles, etc. Leave the shapes in Column 1 uncolored, and color the other shapes the same color as the Explosion shape in the top row. Now, drag the colored shapes to the side. Save as a template. Students drag the shape to the correct cell.
