Using the Internet and Inspiration Software, students will explore the basics of the stock market.

Objectives:
TLW explore the stock market by searching the Internet and creating a flow chart of their results using Inspiration. 

Technology Tools and Materials:
Hardware:  Computer
Software:  Internet Explorer, Inspiration

Background Information:
Students should have basic knowledge of the Internet and Inspiration software. 

Lesson Procedures:
1. TLW meet in computer lab and sign in on individual computers.
2. TTW introduce the lesson and review the rubric used for grading the flow chart.
3. TTW answer questions about the assignment.
4. TLW use the Internet to find information regarding the stock market using the questions provided by the teacher.
5. TLW create a flow chart using Inspiration software that answers the questions on the handout.
6. TLW print 2 copies of the flow chart and give 1 copy to the teacher. 

Assessment Procedures:
TTW assess the students' flow charts based on the rubric provided to them at the beginning of the lesson. 

Accommodations/Modifications:
TTW provide a seating chart.
