The Monroe Online Community project is sponsored by the Monroe City Schools Technology Initiative and the Louisiana Challenge Grant. Our goals are to provide a single site that contains links to all online businesses and organizations in our community and to provide information about our community. The links are currently arranged alphabetically with businesses and organizations intermixed. Extensive searches were conducted to locate the sites listed (which is one reason why we thought this project was needed!). Although 103 sites were found initially and more added subsequently, we know there are many other local businesses and organizations online. We invite you to submit your site. All businesses and organizations located in Monroe/West Monroe are eligible to participate in this project. We also invite you to submit sites and/or information about Monroe/West Monroe. And to help us promote this community service, we request that you add a link to the MOC from your web page. Hopefully, the next time you visit the page, the ramp to the Monroe Online Community will have many more exits.
